WWE Hall of Famers, the Bella Twins, betrayed their tag team partner Paige with a post-match attack at SummerSlam.

Night One of the 2026 WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event featured the Bella Twins and Paige facing off against Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid, and Fallon Henley in a six-woman tag team match. The match came to fruition after Nikki Bella’s surprise return from injury on the July 24 episode of SmackDown.

The match, which lasted around 7:30 minutes, ended after Jacy Jayne hit Paige with the Rolling Encore to score the victory. The losing team appeared to be on the same page despite the loss, as they displayed solidarity after the match. However, a visibly frustrated Nikki Bella knocked Paige down with an elbow. The WWE Hall of Famers then continued the attack, leaving her lying in the ring before walking away.

After Nikki Bella got injured ahead of WrestleMania 42, a returning Paige took her place and won the WWE Women’s Championship with Brie Bella at the event. They held the title for 91 days until dropping it to Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid at Saturday Night’s Main Event last month.

With their partnership coming to a crashing end at SummerSlam, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles their feud in the coming days. It will also be interesting to see who comes to Paige’s support to even the odds. AJ Lee had previously expressed interest in working with the three superstars.
