The 10 best players who missed the cut at the Masters
Rory McIlroy continues to hold his ground at the top of the Masters leaderboard for a second consecutive day.
McIlroy did not return to Augusta National Golf Course resting on his laurels after winning his first green jacket last year. He has stretched his total lead by six shots to 12-under after finishing the second round at 7-under. He holds the largest lead after two rounds in the tournament's history.
McIlroy could become the first golfer to win the event in back-to-back years since Tiger Woods in 2002. Nick Faldo (1989-90) and Jack Nicklaus (1965-66) are the only other golfers to win the Masters in back-to-back years.
