Las Vegas punk rock band Crimson Riot has announced its first full album in nearly six years. Their new record, Third Time’s A Charm, will be released on March 20, 2026, through Leg Lamp Records.
The new album marks a major comeback for the trio, following the release of their last full-length album, It Took An Apocalypse, in 2020.
The band is also sharing the first single and music video from the album, titled “Cross The Line.” The song is described as a high-energy punk track that shows the band’s fiery passion and strong sound.
Crimson Riot formed in 2017 and is made up of Roxy Gunn (guitar and lead vocals), Chris Reject (bass and vocals) and Ryan J (drums), who is Roxy’s father. Because of their family connection, iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones once called them the “Punk Rock Partridge Family.”

Their last album, It Took An Apocalypse, came out in May 2020 during the pandemic. Since then, fans have been waiting for a full album release. Now, after nearly six years, the band is finally returning with a bigger and more powerful sound.
Roxy Gunn explained why this album feels different. She said the band worked hard to get the right sound, and they wanted it to feel big without being too much. According to Earshot Media, she described the album as their best work yet, and said, “Third time’s a charm!”
The new single “Cross The Line” is a fast and loud punk song that talks about dealing with fake friends and people in the music industry who don’t keep their promises.
“This song is what comes out when you’re tired of doing most of the backscratching and the favor is rarely returned,” Roxy Gunn said.
The music video for “Cross The Line” is also a major highlight. It was filmed at the home of Las Vegas pyrotechnician Antonio Restivo, known as the Black Dragon, and includes real flames. The band used nearly seven gallons of fuel during the shoot to create a dramatic fire effect.
The single has already started getting radio play, including on Rodney Bingenheimer’s show and 92.3 KOMP’s Homegrown Show in Las Vegas.
Third Time’s A Charm includes 12 songs that range from loud, fast punk to softer more reflective tracks. The album focuses on a bigger sound, more detail, and deeper feelings than their earlier work. Some of the songs include:
“Cross The Line” – fast and angry, about fake friends
“Mold Age” – about getting older but staying young inside
“Here’s To You” – a fan tribute with guest artists from Buck-O-Nine and Lo(u)ser
This album will also be Crimson Riot’s first release on vinyl, which is a big milestone for the band. Fans can pre-order the album starting Feb. 1, 2026 at crimsonriot.com.
The band has also announced upcoming live shows:
Feb. 14, 2026 – Red Dwarf, Las Vegas, NV (Free show)
Mar. 20, 2026 – Grey Witch, Henderson, NV (Album release show)
Spring Tour – TBA
