Last night, the worlds of fashion and technology came together for the 2026 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony. Often referred to as the “Oscars of Science,” the annual awards show was founded back in 2013 to honor individuals at the forefront of scientific change. With Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki serving on the board, the team has worked to champion the next generation of professionals in areas such as fundamental physics, life sciences, and mathematics.

For the 2026 edition, the ceremony welcomed a star-studded guest list that included models, actors, and public figures alike. Among them, Gigi Hadid showed up in a silky bridal-white gown from David Koma, designed with a criss-cross halter neckline secured with a sparkling jewel brooch. To match, she and stylist Elizabeth Sulcer added diamond jewelry from Anayam London and little white heels from Andrea Wazen.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, Anne Hathaway made the evening a date night with her husband, Adam Shulman, who joined her for a rare public appearance. She wore a one-shoulder black gown for the special occasion and accessorized with a Bulgari clutch and jewels from the same house.

For Zoe Saldaña, the evening called for a rust-orange strapless Alaïa look pulled straight from the Fall/Winter 2026 collection. Likewise, Lily Collins went strapless with a slinky Saint Laurent dress designed by Anthony Vaccarello in moss green. Naomi Watts, Katharine McPhee, Jessica Chastain, and more guests played with texture, while Michelle Yeoh and Gal Gadot offered up two types of suiting.
