Dua Lipa’s Minidress Is Made of Nothing but a Layer of See-Through Gold Chainmail for a Katy Perry Show

Dua Lipa stopped by Sunny Hill Festival in Kosovo on July 31.

To watch Katy Perry’s set, she wore a see-through gold chainmail minidress.

Lipa recently married Callum Turner in a lavish Italian wedding.

Dua Lipa may be best known for what she wears on stage, but, as it turns out, she also knows how to put together the perfect ‘fit for a night spent watching from the crowd, too. On July 31, the singer made an appearance at Sunny Hill Festival in Kosova where she enjoyed Katy Perry’s set.

For the occasion, Lipa opted for a dramatic shimmering gold chainmail dress. The Rabanne minidress was made of a layer of gold discs with a few flower details across the neckline and skirt. Lipa wore the see-through dress with a black bra and a pair of knee-high black buckled boots. Also visible was her ring stack featuring her gold chunky engagement ring and her new wedding band.

Lipa shared photos and videos of the evening on Instagram, writing, “@katyperry took us to the moon and @stroxler kept us there 🧑‍🚀⭐️🚀 see you tonight for round 2!!! ⭐️”

Perry also shared a clip of their meeting on Instagram that featured Lipa taking part in Perry’s viral TikTok Watch It Burn hop. “Ending Eurosummer 2026 right doing the “Watch It Burn” hop with my sis @dualipa at @sunnyhillfestival ♥️🇽🇰” wrote Perry. Perry’s boyfriend Justin Trudeau also recently joined her on the trend.

Perry and Lipa’s friendship goes back a long way. In fact, when Lipa was just 15 years old, she joined Perry on stage during her California Dreams tour. “I love Katy! I am friends with Katy. I think she’s amazing,” Lipa told Rolling Stone in 2024. “That was a full-circle moment for me when she came to see my show at the Palladium [in 2018] because when I was 15 years old, I went to go see her at the Hammersmith Apollo in London,” she went on. “It was her California Dreams Tour, and she was bringing fans onstage and I jumped onstage and I danced. There’s this embarrassing picture of me online, but I love her.”

Lipa recently returned from an idyllic Italian wedding and honeymoon. She and Callum Turner tied the knot in Palermo before enjoying a vacation in Sicily. Since then, the singer has been spotted in New York City at the famous Electric Lady recording studio.
